For household and industrial waste treatment and biomass treatment, CNIM implements and offers waste-to-energy conversion, an essential component of a global multi-channel approach.

AS DESIGNER AND MANUFACTURER
As a turnkey contractor, CNIM produces integrated turnkey solutions, from engineering to procurement and construction, and through to commissioning. The Group also has all of the resources that are needed to provide operators with technical assistance.
CNIM designs and builds waste recycling plants, including effluent treatment systems based on in-house processes, and carries out the detailed design of the essential elements of the installation, also using its own processes, in particular for:
- combustion (CNIM-Martin grate)
- energy recovery (CNIM furnace-boiler units)
- waste-to-energy conversion (CNIM thermal cycles)
- flue gas and residue treatment (LAB processes)
The most sensitive equipment is manufactured in its own workshops, while other equipment and turbine-driven alternators are entrusted to a network of high quality subcontractors working under the technical supervision of CNIM.
AS DESIGNER, BUILDER AND OPERATOR WITH VALORISATION OF THE RECOVERED ENERGY
CNIM designs, builds and operates the recovery centre, and undertakes to use the produced energy through the sale of steam or electricity to the grid.
This is a global waste treatment system that resembles a general concession.
The Group can also provide financing. Its references and experience in terms of financing projects of this type, notably in the United Kingdom and in France, mean that it is a recognised actor in this domain.
